Terms and Conditions

CarryCollective™ Terms of Service

Welcome to CarryCollective™ ("CarryCollective™", "we", "us", or "our").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products and services. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and any other policies published on our website.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

1. About Us

CarryCollective™ is an online retailer based in the Republic of South Africa.

Our website is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products online. While Shopify powers our online store, all purchases are made directly from CarryCollective™, not Shopify.

2. Eligibility

By using this website, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old; or
  • You have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use this website.

You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information whenever requested and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.

3. Products

We strive to display our products as accurately as possible.

However:

  • Colours may vary depending on your screen or device.
  • Product dimensions may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances.
  • Packaging may change from time to time without notice.
  • Images are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the final product.

We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit quantities at any time.

4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Prices include VAT where applicable.
  • Delivery charges are calculated separately during checkout.
  • Promotional pricing may be available for limited periods.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before dispatching an order.

If an incorrect price has been displayed due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund any payment received.

5. Orders

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase.

Your order becomes legally binding only once:

  • payment has been successfully received; and
  • we send you an Order Confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where:

  • payment cannot be verified;
  • stock is unavailable;
  • pricing errors occur;
  • fraudulent activity is suspected; or
  • we reasonably believe the order breaches these Terms.

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, a full refund will be processed using the original payment method.

6. Payment

We accept payment methods displayed during checkout.

By placing an order you warrant that:

  • you are authorised to use the payment method;
  • payment information supplied is accurate;
  • sufficient funds are available.

Payments are securely processed through approved third-party payment providers.

CarryCollective™ does not store full payment card details.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • courier companies;
  • customs inspections;
  • weather;
  • strikes;
  • public holidays;
  • force majeure events; or
  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Risk in the goods passes to you only upon delivery.

Ownership of the goods remains with CarryCollective™ until payment has been received in full.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns are governed by our Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

Where products are defective, damaged or not as described, your statutory rights under South African law remain fully applicable.
